Nadia Mukami: Finance Officer

Nadia's youthful zest and passion is impossible to ignore, which is what initially struck many of her fans when her song Si Rahisi hit the airwaves some few years ago. Her lyrics, almost poetic in nature, make her a cut above the rest. Were it not for the limelight she probably would have been a finance officer in some company as she holds a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance option.

Krispah: Aeronautical Engineer

Ndovu kuu became an overnight sensation courtesy of his easy flowing lyrics that are laced with humour. Reports have it that the Ndovu ni Kuu singer was first called to pursue a degree in Geospatial Engineering but did not like it.

A purveyor of infectious energy as she describes herself, Mochi relocated with her family to the US for greener pastures in 2009. She studied her Bachelors's Degree in Engineering at Minnesota State University, and Iron Range Engineering and Master's in Engineering at the University of St Thomas. She started working as an engineer but her pull for music and desire to make people dance became her passion.

While celebrating her 35th birthday Avril dropped her 13-track album, Spirit, featuring inspiring songs, sensual hits, dance and reggae numbers as well as spiritual melodies. If life went by the books, funny man Njugush would be probably on your screens, not as a comedian but a reporter. Njugush attended the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication, where he studied journalism.

The three members of the Elani Band: Maureen Kunga, Bryan Chweya, and Wambui Ngugi are all degree holders from the University of Nairobi. Chweya would have become a lawyer, and so would Maureen Kunga. Wambui Ngugi would have been an actuary - she holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science.
