Maseno University blossoming under new VC

Maseno University is one of the most renowned universities in Kenya.There has been a row whether it is in Kisumu county or Vihiga county. However,since the new vice chancellor Prof.Joseph Nyambundi took office,the varsity has seen a lot of developments that has greatly changed the image of the higher institution of learning. Pit latrines that were in the institution have been pulled down and new ones constructed which use water.Lecture halls have been refurbished and tiles put in each hall. This is just a tip of an iceberg for the VC is seen adamant to ensure the new modern library that had stalled is completed within the shortest time possible. A modern administration block is also under construction and is claimed that it will house all offices. Furthermore,the pathways in the varsity are being tarmacked which has made students have a reason to smile. The rate of insecurity has gone down and students are enjoying a calm climate unlike in previous years where students have been attacked by unknown people. Therefore,with the new vice chancellor,Maseno university is most likely to be one of the most best universities in Kenya. On the other hand,the government should solve the conflict that has been there to ensure the institution retains its image. Cosmus Musembi,Maseno University.
