What are you up to these days? You seem to have gone off the radar?
I am head of radio at Family Radio 316.
How would you best describe yourself? Are you a feminist or a traditionalist?
I am neither, but I am allergic to stupidity, regardless of its gender or origin.
What do you love most about being a woman?
Being underestimated because it gives you the opportunity to excel.
What do you believe is your best quality?
My big mouth.

At one point, you shaved and embraced a bold hairdo; what inspired the move?
I had just won a Chaguo La Teeniz award for favourite radio show and was about to move to Canada, so I decided to get a new look.
What hairstyle are you rocking these days?
I locked my hair late last year so I currently have short sister locks.
They say that when a woman hits 30, she finally fits into her shoes and is more confident; is it true?
I believe I was born 40 years old, so I am heading to my element. I do not believe that I am quite there yet though.
You have a nice trim figure; what is your secret?
Sports and working out. I enjoy badminton, squash and lately cross-fit.
What do you do for ‘me time’?
It depends on my mood, but lately I am watching the new Sci-fi series called Helix.
What one thing don’t a lot of people know about you?
I am a vegetarian.
Did you have any insecurities about your physical appearance growing up? If yes, have you overcome them?
I suffered severe burns at the age of two and the scars have been a constant curiosity. It took the understanding that the scars made me unique for me to stop being self-conscious.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would that be and why?
My temper. I do not like it when I upset someone close by saying things that I can apologise for but cannot take back.

LIFE: Now in HD… No repeats!
What do you know about love and men that you wish someone told you when you were younger?
I am fortunate not to have experienced a heartache.
What are some of your New Year’s resolution?
To be honest with myself and others and to accept the consequences of my actions.
Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
Creating relevant exciting programming while continuing to train a new generation of talent at Family Radio 316.
