What happens when a man comes home with a boxer as the love of his life? Mzee Zakari Omollo, a village elder from Nyamira County said that society has never appreciated the muscular women and that slim girls are given more priority because in African societies women were not required to look masculine.

He added that when one marries a muscled woman, elders could even perform rituals in a bid to tone down bodies of such girls. So, it’s still a general agreement that slender women are what society appreciates. Women in masculine sports(football, rugby, cricket, karate and body building) will somehow, have masculine physique largely due the nature of their training which targets the muscle growth. Muscle growth is all about the foods you eat and the training you do. There are those who train but never build up because they don’t do it in a certain way.

It appears that sportsmen sometimes avoid dating muscled sportswomen. Soccer players rarely date and let alone marry female boxers. According to veteran football, Coach Rishadi Shedu, it’s because men are known for their infidelity and cannot risk getting into a relationship in which a woman can clobber them. He said that male footballers are unofficially categorized as playboys. So, he thought they fear dating the physically fit women because they are afraid of being beaten up.

In several interviews held, it was said that only brave men approach the masculine type of lady. The few who make a move run away once they hear the lady is a boxer. What does that mean? the boy child is intimidated and the women themselves need to feel loved because they have feelings too.It's just that they are passionate about what they do the same way the man is passionate about his work.

Most of them were admitting some of the men they dated, ditched them because of their stony bodies which forces them to stay single and they need a man who would satisfy their physical needs for it's said to be the best workout a woman can do before going to game.
