The secret to a perfect relationship is cuddles five times a day, two romantic weekend breaks a year and three mutual friends - according to a new survey
Sharing the washing up, three date nights a month and saying 'I love you' before bed have been revealed as the secret ingredients to the perfect relationship.
Admitting you are wrong after an argument bagged the No.1 spot in a top 20 list, while sex twice a week, and a three and a half year age gap are also signs of a lasting liaison.
The survey was created for the launch of the Two Together Railcard, which saves passengers a third off rail travel when they travel together - it studied 2,000 people and the results were pretty fascinating.
And being in a relationship is not cheap either!
Monthly romantic meals, and two weekend breaks a year are amongst the essentials.
Spokesman Andrew Robertson said: "It's encouraging that today's perfect relationship is based on simple things such as meals out, travelling together to new places, daily kisses and telling each other 'I love you' before going to sleep."
Interestingly, three quarters of the adults polled said marriage wasn't essential for the perfect relationship.
Meanwhile, bad driving and rows over money were listed as top argument-starters.
