Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour.

1 tablespoon baking powder.

teaspoon of baking soda.

cup of sugar.

3 tablespoons of cocoa powder (for taste).

1 cups of milk.

2 eggs.

stick of butter or 2 tablespoons of margarine.

A teaspoon of vanilla essence to taste.

1 teaspoon red food colouring.

Instructions:

In a large bowl pour your (dry ingredients) flour in followed by your baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and cocoa powder and mix them well.

In another bowl start mixing your wet ingredients, break your eggs, add in the milk and whisk well.

Add your butter followed by vanilla essence and red food colouring, and mix well.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix them ensuring they are well incorporated with each other and bubbles start forming on the top.

Set it aside for a while.

In a pan melt your butter, using a ladle pour your mixture into the pan.

Let the pancake cook properly on the bottom side before flipping it to let the other side cook.

Continue with this procedure until your mixture is over, the pancakes will come out fluffy and very tasty.

One can pour honey over the pancakes or garnish them with strawberries, blueberries, blackberries or any fruit of choice. Enjoy!
