Types of photos that you should never post on Social media.

Living

In this age of social media and vanity, more and more users are living their lives whether faked or real, through their online platforms flaunting their goodies and flossing their property. What many forget is, once the photos are out there it is public domain. The photos can be copied, shared, used, redistributed and oh yah photoshopped.

As more companies scour through digital and social media before they hire potential employees, one bad photo could be your worst nightmare. Remember, the internet never forgets.

Below are 15 types of photos you should keep off cyber space.

Nude photos.

Unless you’re a nude model or a nudist, share these in those specific forums at your own risk and if not do not post.

Boudoir shots.

We know how sexy boudoir photos can be and one may be tempted to share. But remember what their purpose was for. Boudoir shots are meant for your husband and not for the world so keep it to yourself.

You in your underwear.

The reason it is called under wear is because it is meant to be worn underneath. This comes close to nudity regardless of how you may argue.

You in your swimsuit.

While this may ruffle a few feathers, it is a big no. Unless you’re a swimsuit model, leave such photos in the beach.

Photos of you tipsy, drunk, partying hard and passing out.

It goes without saying that any of these should never see the light of day in public domain. This is a sure way to be misjudged and labelled.

Doing drugs.

Weed has for example become such a household pass time activity and party drug that many forget and post photos while holding a joint, smoking or blowing. Might look cool and fun at the moment but that could be used against you legally.

Engaging in frisky behavior with members of the opposite sex.

This is a no-no especially if you’re in a committed relationship or married. This is the fastest way to be dumped or even lose a job.

Photo of you kissing.

Unless it is of your wedding or engagement then maybe. Do it with caution. Married today, divorced tomorrow.

Photos of you having a good time while you skipped school or lied to your employer you were unwell, away etc.

Many have been busted through this over and over again.

You with any kind of weapon.

It may look macho and all but you never know who is watching and the impression it creates.

You being involved in an illegal activity

Like rioting, mob justice, sex party with minors etc. This could be all the evidence needed to put you behind bars for a very long time.

Photos of your private life

Which includes children, family, house, work place etc. This could lead to a hit on any of your loved ones or inappropriate use of their photos that may

Photos of other people’s children

Should never be put up without the guardian’s consent. Period.

Revenge photos

Should never ever be put up regardless of how bad your breakup was or what someone did to you. This will land you in court faster than you can take them down.

Your emotional break down

Should never reach social media. Photos of you crying, looking disturbed, causing personal bodily harm, cursing, excessive behavior etc should be kept under wraps. Whatever it is you’re going through it is honestly none of our business. Deal with it!
