Happy Saturday! Today we will make soya chunks. They are made out of soya beans. They are packed with omega-3, iron, and protein, and are cholesterol free.
Ingredients:
1 packet soya chunks
1 onion, sliced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil (cholesterol-free)
1 teaspoon garlic ginger mince

1 sweet pepper cut into julienne
2 tomatoes cut into julienne
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon curry powder
3 tablespoons dark soy sauce
3 whole green chillies (optional)
1/4 cup water or white vinegar
1 teaspoon sim sim
Cooked basmati rice
Method:
In a bowl, add soya chunks and soak them in cold water until they are soft. In a pan over medium heat drizzle the oil and add the onions.
Saute until soft. Now add the soaked soya chunks and cook for about three minutes.
Add the sweet pepper and tomatoes and mix. Add the black pepper, curry powder, and soy sauce and mix.
Add the green chillies (optional) and water/white vinegar and simmer for a few minutes. Once cooked garnish with sim sim.
Serve with basmati rice. Enjoy!
