Seventeen people have tested positive for Covid-19 from a sample size of 4,480 in the last 24 hours.
The positivity rate stands at 0.4%. The total number of confirmed cases is 323,306, the cumulative number of tests conducted in the country are 3,472,182 since the first case of the disease was recorded in Kenya.
From the cases: 14 are Kenyans while three are foreigners, the youngest is 12 years and the oldest is 62-years-old. The cases are distributed between Nairobi (14), Nyeri (2) and Mombasa one case.
Two people have recovered from the disease in various health facilities in the country, total recoveries are 317,508.
The Ministry of Health says that no deaths have been reported, the cumulative fatalities remain 5,647.
A total of 17,374,904 vaccines have been administered with 7,958,138 people being fully vaccinated while 7,967,097are partially vaccinated.
A total of 270,998 booster shots have been administered with Nairobi, Nakuru, Kiambu, Nyeri and Uasin Gishu counties leading with the number of people who have received the shots, Lamu and Marsabit counties have the lowest number of people.
