Murua Muziki left tongues wagging after news of his proposal to his longtime lady friend, Wanjiku Mwaura went viral.
He took the moment to show his friend just how much he valued their friendship and decided to ask her to be his forever. In an unexpected move, he chose not propose asking her to marry him but for her to be his Best Friend Forever.
Muziki, an IT specialist, took his time and went down on one knee and popped the big “Will you be my Best Friend Forever” question to Wanjiku at a hotel along Biashara Street. A baffled Wanjiku held her face with both hands as she said “Yes” to Muziki’s BFF proposal before he delicately slid a ring on her finger.
It is not clear whether it is Muziki who ‘friendzoned’ himself or he did ‘friendzone’ Wanjiku, all in all many were wowed by his romantic gesture as congratulatory messages trooped in with many wishing the pair the very best in marriage
To crown their big moment, the couple cut a cake as they shared pecks on the cheeks:
