Kenya's entertainment scene has lost another artist and radio personality, Mr Anthony Reagan Kukuni Kwena, aka Rynoh.

Rynoh was killed in Friday night accident along Mombasa Road near the General Motors stage when the vehicle he was in rolled after it swerved to avoid hitting a pedestrian and a stationary lorry.

Rynoh, a talented actor and a former radio presenter of QFM and West FM will be remembered for his courage to fight for what he believed in.

Playwright and Mahiakalo ward representative Cleophas Malala described Rynoh as a fearless and no nonsense artist who had a great future.

"We lost a young talent, vibrant, focused and full of potential to even move a mountain. Who will fill this gap," mourned Malala, who mentored the late.

Rynoh was a member of the G40 family, a group of young upcoming artists that has injected fresh blood and ideas into the art scene by merging the old and the new.

He will be deeply missed by his family, dearly celebrated by the G40 family and his contributions in the art industry will forever be cherished. He was an actor at the Festival of Creative Arts (FCA).

Malala said the late was very central to many of his works, among them his controversial high school play, 'Shackles of Doom.

Rynoh who was an actor at Next Level Productions and an Alumni of Bungoma High School came to national fame when he acted in a play, The Producer, which scooped the anti-corruption award at the national festivals.

"RIP Rynoh. You gave me a name when you acted Barnabas in my play (The Producer). I am so sad," Derrick Amunga, the script writer and director said in his tribute.

"The last time we met was at msetoea's event (sic) at Klubhouse. We hugged, laughed and little did I know that he was actually saying Goodbye...he was like a brother, I believed in him," Mzazi Willy Mtuva said in his condolence message.

"A star he is, in me he is still a pillar of happiness, a vessel of great friendship. At your age you showed me great brotherhood. Great boy you are Reagan. I love you bro," Mr Nicholas Mudimba, a TV personality said in his tribute.

"Rynoh really knew how to bring life. I'll miss you kid," Xavier Jerry Nato, a member of the cultural and creative artists association is a society (CCAWA), mourned.

He is son to Mr Vincent Sebastian Kwena and Mrs Rose Muyoma Kwena of Busia District Hospital and a brother to Mr Andrew Aliero Kwena and master Arnold Ayuya Kwena.

A grand and final fundraising will take place at the Kenya National Theatre (KNT) this Wednesday April 29, 2015 from 5pm.

His body leaves Busia District Hospital Mortuary on Thursday for a sleep over at Karibuni Estate in Busia town. He will then be transported to his parent's rural home on Friday for a final sleepover.

The burial will happen on Saturday May 2, 2015 at Bumakhutu in Butula Constituency Busia County.
