Night time is the best time to whip out your bag of beauty tricks. It’s very conducive and that’s why it’s better to do what you need to do before going to bed.
Our bodies naturally heal themselves overnight but it’s always great to enhance the process with a good regimen so that you can wake up looking good with minimal effort.
The first step is to make sure you’re going to bed at the right time. You can apply all the serums you like but if you don’t have a good sleep schedule, you’ll still wake up looking tired.
Put that phone away, turn the TV off and sleep early so that you can get enough hours of rest.
Treat your lipsHaving dry chapped lips that haven’t been moisturized for a long time can be a turn off. The good thing is that maintaining lips needs little to no effort at all and you won’t have to buy some expensive serums anyway.
Do the usual maintenance of scrubbing them with a wash cloth or brush them gently every time you brush your teeth.
As you go to bed, all you need is a moisturizing balm which will restore the softness. They will literally be transformed as you sleep.
Apply a light moisturizerWhen you shower at night, don’t just wear your gown and hop into bed without applying some lotion.
Obviously you’re only sleeping and you don’t have to worry about looking ashy but, don’t continue with the habit of leaving your skin bare and dry.
Applying light moisturizer keeps your skin hydrated for a more refreshed look in the morning.
Pop out the pimple creamWe all get pimples and I’m sure you know how annoying they can be.
Unfortunately, many of the creams leave some residue which makes it hard for you to apply it comfortably during the day.
The best time for you to attack them is before bed because you don’t have to stress about any awkward stares. Your body will take care of the rest for you.
Grow your lashes and brows magicallyIt’s impossible to sit and literally watch your lashes and brows grow.
What you can do, however, is be consistent with your serums and oils before bed. You can use store bought growth serums or stick to the natural side of things with oils like castor oil.
Over time, you’ll see that the progress you’ve made is huge.
Drink some waterHydrating will always be an important part of beauty. This helps your body flush out toxins and restore the health of your skin and hair too.
You can go a step further and add some flavor with cucumber or any other natural ingredients that give you added beauty benefits.
Be careful with this though because you shouldn’t drink right before bed or consume huge amounts that could disrupt your sleep cycle or cause other health issues.
On top of all this, always remember the basic tips of removing any makeup and keeping your pillow cases and sheets clean.
