Melania Trump spends her days enjoying spa treatments and is 'bitter and chilly' with her husband because they left the White house under a cloud, friends claim.
The former First Lady, 50, is claimed to be furious with Donald in the wake of the US Capitol riots which the 74-year-old is now being tried for inciting.
She is also said to be angry that her husband appeared at the ‘Stop the Steal’ rally where thousands of his supporters ended up storming the congressional building resulting in the death of five people.
Melania controversially kept silent after the riots on January 6 which a former aide claims was because she felt 'she had nothing to gain' by commenting.
They told CNN: "She could see how it was going to go for her. Once (the insurrection) happened, she knew there was nothing to gain for her by speaking out or doing something – so she didn’t do anything."
Melania has been having her spa treatments, that include massages and facials, at the Trump’s Mar-a-Lago country club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
She is said to be eating light, fish-focused meals on its terrace and spends time with her parents Viktor and Amalija Knavs who stay in a private suite in the country club for much of the year.
She also see her husband for dinner.
A source said: "She goes to the spa, has lunch, goes to the spa (again) and has dinner with Donald on the patio. Rinse and repeat. Every day."
Melania’s routine is said to be very similar to when she was a first lady.
Before she left the White House Melania left a note for Jill Biden but has not spoken to her.
Aides claimed she turned down interview requests with many of the publications that have already featured her successor.
Melania, who is the former president’s third wife, is also claimed to be angry about the media attention Jill has attracted.
She has not been seen in public since she disembarked Air Force One in Palm Beach on January 20.
Some aides claim she will file for divorce from divorce for Donald, however friends insist the couple are happy and have been relaxing since leaving the White House.
The former president’s legal team will present their arguments to his impeachment trial on Friday.
