A woman woke up to find the initials of seven lads tattooed on her hip after a boozy night out in Magaluf.

Megan Gerrard, 22, was on a girls trip to the Spanish island with six friends in July 2018 where they met seven guys from Newcastle.

Megan said they ended up going out partying every night with the boys.

On their last night in Magaluf, the new friends headed to the strip for one last night out when they passed a tattoo parlour.

Megan jokingly suggested she would get everyone’s initials tattooed on her thigh as a tribute to their chance encounter.

The guys dared her to do it and she decided to take up the challenge despite her friends warning her it would be a bad idea.

Megan, who works in customer service, said: “I was on holiday with six of my friends and we met a group of seven boys.

“We got close with the boys and went out with them every night! It came to their last night and obviously we were all sad that they were leaving.

“On our way to the strip we passed a tattoo shop and as a joke, I said I will get everyone’s initials tattooed on me and the boys dared me to.

“My friends were begging me not to but I was determined to get it done.”

When Megan returned to England, she realised some of the men had given her fake initials after finding out their real names on social media.

Megan and her friends stayed in contact with the guys for around four months until their girlfriends found out – and made the men block off all contact with them.

However, Megan has no regrets about what happened and found the whole experience rather hysterical.

She has since gotten a new tattoo to cover it up.

Megan added: “Some of the boys gave me fake names and we didn’t find out until we got home and they added us on Snapchat.

“We stayed in contact with the boys for about 4 months but then we found out they actually were in long term relationships and their girlfriends found out about us and made all the boys block us girls.

“We weren’t in contact but I put that tweet up yesterday and one of the boys had seen it and replied to it as a joke! I don’t regret anything about it. It was funny!"
