Education Cabinet Secretary (CS) Ezekiel Machogu on Wednesday, December 21 released the results of the 2022 KCPE exam.

The top performer scored 431 marks out of the possible 500.

The candidates who scored between 400 and 500 marks were 9,443; 300-399 marks (307,756), 200-299 marks (619,593), 100-199 marks (296,336) and 1-99 marks (724).

There were 2,417 special needs candidates who wrote the 2022 KCPE exam.

Those who scored between 400 and 500 marks under this category were seven, 300-399 marks (296), 200-299 marks (838), 100-199 marks (1,270) and 1-99 marks (six).

A total of 1,233,852 candidates sat the 2022 KCPE exam.
