The fate of Nambale MP Chris Okemo and former Kenya Power and Lighting Company boss Samuel Gichuru now lies with the director of public prosecutions. Attorney general amos wako has instructed the director to peruse an Interpol request seeking to have Gichuru and Okemo extradited on allegations of corruption. The two have been accused of concealing and transferring funds amounting to over 900 million shillings while they held public office.
