Happy Sunday! Today we make egg tomato-crusted cheese sandwich. This recipe will give you five sandwiches.

Ingredients:

10 slices of bread

5 cheddar cheese slices

50g margarine

5 whole eggs

3 tomatoes, sliced

Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

Apply margarine to a slice of bread.

In a non-stick pan over medium heat, toast one side of the bread. Now, facing up place cheese on top and flip.

Cook until the cheese crusts.

Remove from the pan and repeat process with the rest of the bread, and set aside.

Using the same pan melt the margarine and fry the eggs one by one, sunny-side-up and set aside.

Sprinkle salt and pepper on them and you are ready to assemble your sandwiches.

Take a slice of toasted cheese bread and place the cooked egg.

Layer with a sliced tomato and add some extra black pepper if you wish, then cover with the second slice of toasted bread and repeat the same with the rest of the bread.

Enjoy with a beverage of your choice!
