Love it

Bad habits are negative behaviour patterns that can be trivial but sometimes get in the way of us achieving our maximum potential, whether in work, life, love, health or spirituality. We all have them, and we usually know what they are, yet we still find ourselves in a cycle of trying, and failing, to break them.

It takes an average of 66 days to form a habit. Stay on track by keeping count of the days. Habits at their core are routine and automatic, so you need patience to rewire your brain into forming new routines.

To successfully substitute bad behaviour for good ones, don't try and change all at once. Start by selecting a single, simple habit. Accomplishing something manageable like responding immediately to emails or drinking a glass of water before each meal will give you the motivation to tackle bigger, more difficult habits.
