My 65” plasma smart TV
How is that so?
With its split screen capabilities, we no longer have to fight for the remote in the house.
So once the screen is split who takes control of the remote?
Anyone can. There is an app that you download on your phone and works as a generic remote.

65 inches is quite a size, why the preference for such a big TV?
To allow everyone to watch the TV without having to strain no matter how far away from the TV they are. Additionally, it complements our big living room quite well. A small TV would look out of place. We hope to acquire the ultimate 75 inch LED curved soon.
How much did it cost?
Sh315,000
Don’t you think that is a dear price to pay for a TV?
It is not, especially if you are getting value for it. For instance, my TV is future proof, meaning I can update the TV software automatically through the Internet by use of the evolution kit without having to buy a new one altogether.
How do you clean it in case it gets dusty?
It is easily cleaned by use of a dry cloth that will not scratch its surface to wipe off the dust.
What challenge have you faced while using the TV?
It takes a lot of energy to heat up the screen hence, my preference for the LED screens.
I notice that the TV is mounted too close to the wall, how safe is it?
It is very safe since the mounting cable used is made specifically for the weighty smart TVs, though they are more pricey than the ‘jua kali’ metallic mounts. Apart from that, the mount is designed in such a way that one can rotate the TV to different angles. It also looks neat.
