1/2 tsp chili powder, optional

Cheese, for garnish
Tomato sauce
Mustard
Avocado (mashed)
Method:
Cut shallow, diagonal slits into each hot dog about 2cm apart. Wrap one piece of bacon around each hot dog and secure the bacon with a wooden pick at each end. (Thin bacon slices work best as they take a short time to get crispy.)
Sprinkle both sides of the bacon-wrapped hot dog with garlic powder, garlic and chilli powder, if you like.
Shallow fry the hot dogs on a pan, or bake at 180 until the bacon is crispy, 20 to 25 minutes, turning them over halfway through the baking time. Once done, remove the toothpicks. The hotdogs should hold.
Cut the bun and toast the inner sides. Spread mashed avocado, then add the bacon-wrapped hot dogs to the buns with cheese, onion, tomato sauce, and mustard. Enjoy!
