What to do:
In a large bowl, put all the dry ingredients, add the margarine mix well. Go in with the milk and knead until the dough is soft.
Cover with clean film and let it double in size. Punch it back and make about 8 equal rolls.
Cover the rolls with a kitchen towel and let them rise until double in size. Now roll them into flat ovals, and fill the sides with mozzarella cheese.
Fold the sides and seal the sides with a fork to hold in the cheese. Now add the toppings. For the toppings, you will need 1kg of mozzarella cheese, grated, and minced meat
What you will need:
500g minced meat
1 teaspoon garlic mince
1 teaspoon ginger mince
1 teaspoon black pepper
Salt to taste
3 tablespoons white vinegar
Mix all the above ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
1 onion, diced
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic mince
1/2 teaspoon ginger mince
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tomatoes, diced
1 teaspoon curry powder
100g tomato paste
A handful of fresh coriander
Juice of 1 lime
Method:
Sauté the onions until soft, add in the garlic and ginger mince, cumin seeds, turmeric powder and black pepper. Mix well until fragrant.
Add in the tomatoes and cook until tomatoes are mashed.
Add the marinated minced meat, curry powder and tomato paste. Mix well then add the curry powder, and fresh coriander and finish off with the juice of 1 lime.
Cook until water is evaporated and the mincemeat is almost dry.
Use this as a topping on the flatbreads, finish off with mozzarella cheese and some sliced capsicum if you wish.
Bake in an oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes.
Enjoy!
