Khloe Kardashian has shared details about a facial procedure she underwent following the removal of cancerous tissue in 2022.

The 40-year-old reality TV star recently opened up about why she opted for facial fillers.

On 11 October, Khloe took to Snapchat, posting photos of a noticeable indentation on her right cheek, caused by the surgery.

"As a result of the surgery, and the tumour my incredible doctor removed, I ended up with an indentation in the side of my face," she explained.

She added that she waited nine months before getting fillers to address the issue.

Khloe said the delay was for medical reasons. "We had to make sure everything was safe, and my doctor gave me the go-ahead," she said.

The mother of two—who shares daughter True, 6, and son Tatum, 2, with former partner Tristan Thompson—also posted before-and-after images showing her facial indentation following one round of filler injections.

Additionally, she shared a picture of her face heavily bandaged after the procedure.

This was not her first experience with skin cancer. In 2022, Khloe revealed she had discovered a bump on her face that hadn’t gone away for seven months. After getting it biopsied, doctors removed a tumour.

Having previously had melanoma on her back at the age of 19, Khloe monitored the situation closely.

She documented the removal process in the third season of The Kardashians, noting that her doctors had to remove a larger portion of tissue than initially expected.

Khloe later urged her followers to be vigilant with their health. "I never imagined that this tiny speck would turn into skin cancer," she wrote on Instagram in 2023. "I can't fathom what could have happened had I not gone to the doctor to get it looked at."

She encouraged fans to be consistent with skin cancer check-ups, stressing the importance of early detection.
