A journalist was roughed up in Gatanga, Murang'a County by a security detail attached to Second Lady Pastor Dorcas Rigathi.
The incident happened at Grey Stone Market when Nation Media Group journalist Mwangi Muiruri was recording videos of Pastor Dorcas during an event.
A female security officer grabbed his phone and immediately, other security officers saw their colleague sending away Muiruri they pounced on him.

He was then slapped and questioned as he pleaded with them to explain why they were ejecting him.
Journalists from Murang'a protested the action and the police were unable to bundle him in their vehicle.
As the chaos reigned, a journalist who was capturing the moment had his phone confiscated and pictures deleted.
Muiruri said he was slapped by the officers as he attempted to display his office badge.
"This is harassment that should come to an end as the police said they acted within their powers," said Muiruri.
Mrs Rigathi was accompanied by Gatanga MP Edward Muriu in the distribution of famine relief to residents at six centres.
