Some women have reported irregular and sometimes more painful periods after receiving their Covid-19 vaccine.
As more and more women continue to hit social media to discuss their painful or late periods, it could be that the vaccine may cause some temporary changes in a vaccinated person’s cycle.

i.Use some heat
A hot water bottle, a heating pad or a warm soak can help relieve menstrual cramps. You may want to focus on your abdomen and lower back for maximum results.
You may want to add a cup of chamomile tea or any other soothing tea to help your body calm down and before you know it you may be able to get some shut eye without much struggle.
ii.Pain killers
This comes as no surprise since most of us already have to take some painkillers to alleviate cramps.
According to CDC, your usual pain medication will work just fine unless there is a medical reason you should not take them. You want to stick to ibuprofen, aspirin and antihistamines unless directed otherwise by your doctor.
iii.Drink water
One of the many side effects of the vaccines include fever-like symptoms that can leave you dehydrated and feeling weak.
What you need to do in such a situation is to increase your fluid intake. Drinking water should be your first option to keep the body well hydrated.
Not only will this help flush out toxins but it can help you feel better by decreasing some of the vaccine symptoms.
iv.Lower your stress
Easier said than done, I know, but who said it cannot be so? Try as much as possible to lower your stress levels by being intentional with what you allow yourself to see, hear, read or go through.
Your body is already under going so much right now and the last thing you need to be worrying about is whether you got the promotion or if you should go for that party or not?
Use every means to keep yourself calm and distracted if you have a lot going on.

They say a problem shared is a problem half solved. You may be surprised to find out that your sister or friend is going through worse and this will somewhat make you feel better.
