Being an office 'sex pest' could cost you Sh 100,000

According to the Employment Act 2007, a company with more than 20 employees must have a sexual harassment policy. The Act describes sexual harassment as a direct or indirect request for a sexual act.

Kate Nderu, a human resource practitioner and director of People, Culture and Change at Knightwise Human Capital Ltd, says that the request can be in written or spoken form, use of visual material and physical behaviour of a sexual nature.
