There’s that human state in-between what you want to do and actually doing it. It can last anywhere from a few seconds to decades, or even centuries. What you do in this duration impacts what you end up achieving. The results could be disastrous or miraculous.
The thing is, depending on what some people may call “luck” and some others may call “hard work”, what you end up with might not always be what you wanted. It might be even better.
I don’t believe in luck. They say some people are born “lucky”. I say they are not. Fortunate, maybe, but not lucky. Luck is the sort of notion where you dabble in things like rabbits’ feet and three-leaf clovers.
I believe in God's plan and that He has a purpose for every single person. I believe in hard work, and strategy and planning. I never get around to doing all this every single time but I wouldn’t say that luck is what pushes me along in this journey.
The problem in this world is that not enough successful people talk about consulting God before planning their courses and embarking on a journey. Even fewer people let on that they pray and seek divine guidance every morning.
The problem with this is that those who talk about their faith in public end up looking like they are trying to gain something from it. Or that they are weak.
But the truth is, we all have our beliefs. Even believing in nothing is a belief. Sharing what you believe is like offering a key to a door through which people have access to the reasons you do what you do. They can understand your motivation, your inspiration and even your intentions.
