In an effort to get the ‘perfect eyebrows’ women and now men have tried every trick in the book and oh! So many are yet to get it right in this day and age. Truth is, first there is no ‘perfect eyebrow.’ But something close can be achieved.

To get those crescent shaped hairs complementing your face in minutes, this is what you need to know and do.

Face Shape:

Everyone has a unique face shape and for the purpose of getting the ideal brows, most faces should be followed with a complimentary brow.

A long face needs a low or flat arch. Avoid adding extra length. If you have a heart-shaped face, go for a high, rounded arch to compliment the chin. Round face should go for a high, peaked arch that goes an extra length and narrows at the end. For a square like face do a fuller brow with arches that line up roughly with the jaw line to distract attention from the widest points of the face. Lastly if you have the coveted oval face then any eyebrow shape will fit here. Pick your choice.

Once that has been established this is how to have them brows on fleek in 5 minutes or less.

If you have thin eyebrows:

Option 1

Lightly fill out the brows with an eye pencil a shade lighter than your skin tone. Use a waterproof gel to fill while applying in fine strokes. Brush the hairs and minimally trim the stray aways that go above your natural brow arch using brow scissors. If you really have to, tweeze the hairs that stand out.

Option 2

Assess your brow and determine your natural shape. Once you have established the start and end points of your brows, align your stencil and fill in your eyebrows with a powder or pomade. Use a brush to blend stroking lightly and pluck any stray hairs. Set it with a tinted or clear brow gel for long wear.

If you have thick eyebrows:

Go for a creamy grooming pomade that does all the work for you. It will tint and set unruly hair for a groomed yet natural, more filled-in look that won't flake. If you have very lengthy brows use a brow razor. Finish with a brow powder and a setting/perfecting wax to create a more defined shape and keep hair in place all day.

Alternatively, you can skip the hustle altogether and get an eyebrow tattoo. Permanent or temporary, the choice is yours.
