For every genuine love story that starts on Tinder, there are many tales of dating mishaps that keep us entertained.

You're always one swipe away from meeting the potential love of your life - or crushing disappointment.

On TikTok, one woman shared a video which left people in stitches at her unfortunate chat.

The video has been seen more than 700,000 times and racked up hundreds of comments.

TikTok user em.griffx joked in the caption: "I'm done.

In the exchange, a man she matched with asked: "This may sound weird but are you an amputee?"

She responded: "No, can't wait for next line."

He replied: "I was asking as a genuine question.

"Look at ur photos and tell me you wouldn't think the same.

"You only ever have 1 arm in them."

After going back to take a look, the woman was left in stitches by his comment, as she replied: "I'm howling."

Lots of people were left curious by the photographs - which the TikTok user shared in another video.

In it, she explained: "I do have two arms..." before sharing a series of photos from her profile.

Viewers were left in hysterics by the video - with one commenting: "This is so funny. He was totally right."

Another commented: "The white shirt with Betty Boop is really the one he probably made the decision to ask."

A third replied: "This is probably the funniest TikTok I've ever seen, omg. I'm literally crying."

Another added: "Ok but also your pictures are SO pretty. I'm in love with the one in the white t-shirt."

Meanwhile, one woman left people horrified after sharing the "horrendous" messages she received after leaving a date early.

On TikTok, the woman explained that she met the 38-year-old man on Bumble and they arranged to meet at a bar in Las Vegas.

But after she arrived, she was disappointed to see that he did not look like his photographs.

Her video of the unpleasant exchange has been viewed more than 850,000 times.
