Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata wedded his soul mate Mary Wambui on Saturday at a colourful event attended by his Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In honouring his ailing father’s wish, the spoken Hon Kang’ata held a church wedding at Gathinja Catholic Church in Kiharu Constituency, Murang’a.
The wedding solemnized their marriage of eight years; they have been living together and have three children.

Nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura and his wife Mukami were the best couple at the yellow, black and white themed event attended by the county’s top leadership including Governor Mwangi Wa Iria and Women Rep Sabina Chege
The ceremony was also graced by lawmakers from both the Senate and National Assembly led by Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka and Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Mukomen
