Speaking after the match, Lumula said they have set their eyes on capturing the national title in Kakamega next month after coming short last year.

Lumula congratulated his girls for showing their might once again at the regionals.

"Congratulations to all my girls. They showed resilience and passion on the field and we want to take the same energy to Kakamega next month," said Lumula.

"It is going to be tough. The first hurdle has been passed. Reaching the nationals was one but now we want to bring the top trophy home. Right now we are not thinking about East Africa but Kakamega first."

"We celebrate this week and rest our muscles but next week the job resumes with high intense training because we are going to meet champions in Kakamega. We have to be ready this year," said Lumula who guided the school to a second place finish last year nationally."
