Police in Naivasha have arrested two more suspects linked to the murder of a Naivasha Hospital medic, three weeks after the body was exhumed from a shallow grave in her compound.
This brings the number of suspects arrested. They include a house-help, said to be the mastermind behind the murder of Jane Wambui Njoroge, a clinical officer at the hospital.
The body of Wambui was found buried in her compound two days after she went missing, before police arrested the house-help, Mary Chebet and charged her with murder at the Naivasha law courts.
According to Naivasha DCI boss Isaac Kiama, one of the suspects was the boyfriend of the house-help and who had received some cash from the deceased in unclear circumstances.
He said that they managed to arrest the night guard in Naivasha town after going through the deceased's M-Pesa transactions days before she was murdered.

"We arrested the male suspect, who happens to be the boyfriend of the house-help, and he cannot explain how he ended up receiving cash from the deceased," he said.
Kiama added that the second suspect was found in possession of a TV set that belonged to the deceased after it was allegedly sold to him.
"The second suspect claims to have bought the TV set from the main suspect, who is still at large, and he has joined the list of those charged with murder," he said.
The CID boss added that they were still searching for two other suspects who are believed to have been involved in the murder and disposal of the body.
Meanwhile, police in Magumu, Kinangop, are investigating an incident where the body of a man was found dumped along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.
The partially-naked body was found near Kinare forest by members of the public before police were called in and took it to Naivasha sub-county hospital mortuary.
A resident, Amos Mwangi said that the body did not have any identification documents, adding that he was killed elsewhere and the body was dumped at the scene.
"In the past, this section of the road has been used to dump bodies, and we fear that the trend is slowly returning back," he said.
