Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko is an active student

Senator Mike Sonko is determined to earn his degree, not only by word of mouth (like some politicians), but by attending class.

Heads Up has been talking to some of his classmates and we have learnt that the business administration student at Kenya Methodist University is active in school.

“He is very friendly and humble in class. We all look forward to sitting next to him. He is quite active too and makes an effort to call the school whenever he cannot make it to class,” said one of his classmates who sought anonymity.

So does he go to class with bodyguards?

“No, for the two years he has been attending classes, I have not seen any gun-wielding man in a suit with him. I think they are always in the car or somewhere incognito,” revealed our sources.

Heads Up also got hold of his school ID and photos with his classmates and we must admit that he does dress the part.

We hope we can also sniff out his grades very soon.
