Nairobi court compelled the Nema to shut down Kiza, B Club, Space Lounge and Explorers Tavern.

A nairobi court has dealt a blow to Nairobi's nightlife as it compelled the National Environment Management (Nema) to shut down Kiza, B Club, Space Lounge and Explorers Tavern. This came as a result of residents of successfully sued the four popular entertainment joints in the city’s upmarket area of Kilimani for alleged violation of their right to a clean and healthy environment.

The order was made by Justice Loise Komingoi of the Environment and Lands Court after Kilimani residents sued the four clubs for alleged violation of their right to a clean and healthy environment.
