Pastor James Maina Ng’ang’a has today been arrested and taken to Traffic Headquarters police station for questioning over the road accident that claimed one life on July 26th.

The pastor was arrested by the Flying squad arm of Police outside Serena Hotel after he had filed an application, through his lawyers, to stop his prosecution before court.

This comes a day after Director of Public Prosecution, Keriako Tobiko, gave the greenlight to charge the pastor causing death through dangerous driving.

The DPP gave the directions following investigations and recommendations by police into an accident in which Ms Mercy Njeri, 38 died while her husband Martin Mbugua Ndung’u survived with injuries at Manguo area in Limuru.
