United Democratic Alliance, the party that propelled President William Ruto to power and was poised to rule for a century, could be on its deathbed.

The party has now agreed to merge with Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi's Amani National Congress (ANC) in a move that will give birth to a new-look outfit.
