The party also appointed Narok Women Representative Rebecca Tonkei as the chair of the Internal Dispute Resolution Committee; whose role will be to resolve any internal issues that may arise from the polls.

The elections will be held in four phases starting on Friday, April 26 to Saturday, August 24.

In phase one, counties like HomaBay, Nairobi, Narok, Busia, West Pokot, and Isiolo will hold their elections.

Later on June 22, the party will conduct its second grassroots election in several counties including Mombasa, Nyandarua, Thara Nithi, Bungoma, Siaya, and Taita Taveta.

The third phase, taking place on August 10 will be held in Kiambu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Muranga, Kericho, Lamu, Nyamira, and Embu counties, among others.

The last phase of the election will be held on August 24 in Nakuru, Nyeri, Bomet, and Kirinyaga counties among others.

Adequate arrangements have been made to ensure a smooth election across the country, thus no need to postpone the elections any further noted Mbarire.

The appointments come following a meeting of the UDA National Steering Committee led by Party Leader President William Ruto, at their Headquarters in Nairobi.
