Gospel singer Ringtone says the hype that has surrounded the gospel industry is on a downward trend, noting that most of the newcomers have no staying power.
"I think one of the new artistes who has shown consistence and potential to grow is Willy Paul. His music is different and he seems to be in touch with his fans and the rest of the world," Ringtone told Pulse.
"I think cartels within the industry are the main issue and if this is not checked, they will kill the gospel industry," he added.
The singer is headed back to Nigeria to shoot a new video.
