Diana Kemunto: Yes, I'm in the hook-up business and it pays

NEWS

The founder of an agency running a pimping empire that links beautiful Nairobi girls with VIPs, majority of them politicians, for secret liaisons where up to Sh300,000 exchanges hands.

Though it has been operating under the radar, Diana Kemunto has come out to reveal the existence of an agency known as VIP Connections, which facilitates introductions and arrangements between prominent figures from various backgrounds and the city divas.

The sole mission is to have fun, paid sex and romantic trips abroad.

Kemunto, whose identity was first revealed on TikTok, said: "We have our rate cards and clients across the globe," adding, "I keep telling ladies, just make your money. If you have a way of making money, just do it. No one will feed you."

In a video and photos posted on Tik Tok platform and later Telegram, about which we reported in our last edition, a whistle-blower narrates how the beauties use a WhatsApp group, known as City Girls, to arrange hooks between them and politicians looking to have a good time.

Receipts and M-Pesa transaction messages he displayed show the divas, who include social media influencers and Instagram socialites, are paid between Sh28,000 and Sh146,000 for a single session.

The Nairobian has established that the entity behind the liaisons was founded in 2015 and initially focused on bringing together individuals primarily from West African countries and girls in Kenya through Tik Tok.

"Over time, the organization expanded its reach to include politicians and entrepreneurs from Kenya, among other nations. Currently, we boast approximately 160 VIP members, and the group has gained significant influence and popularity within exclusive circles," Kemunto told The Nairobian.

"What happened during the past burst on social media (because) I put connections, and someone felt like she was tied on to that person (the client). We didn't see that coming, but it won't happen again," she said.

According to Kemunto, women who sign up with VIP Connections network must pay up to Sh50,000 to gain access to hundreds of potential customers worldwide. However, men have their groups with networks across the globe, where she is also a member, and to join the network one was required to pay Sh100 000.

"I was introduced to this business by a friend, and I begged her to put me in groups of wealthy men who travel for fun or business and want girls to entertain them," she said.

Kemunto said that potential clients go through her network to find ladies who meet their needs, beauty, and preferences.

"Some love them thick, some slim, some dark, some light or they have other preferences. They tell you what they want and then you send pictures for them to pick," Kemunto said.

She added that most prefer light skin thick women who have a better experience.

"Upon evaluating the request and confirming the budget aligns with the group's resources, a connection is made. The budget for connections can range from as little as $300 (Sh 45, 000) to as high as $4,000 (Sh 60, 000) depending on our rate cards," Diana said.

To ensure a secure transaction, the group requires a down payment before arranging a meeting between the interested parties.

"Our customers (men) prefer cash if possible. Sometimes, M-Pesa but they avoid the formal financial system for many reasons," she said, adding, "Once the rendezvous takes place, the remainder of the payment is handed over."

Practical challenges

Kemunto said that her agency has encountered challenges along the way where some clients, mainly Kenyan politicians, failed to pay.

"Some clients have failed to honour their financial commitments, while others have resorted to threatening behaviour," she said, adding, "However, the organisation maintains that such instances are learning experiences, and it continues to deliver results to its clients diligently."

She said that before the girls are handed to potential clients, thorough checks and health screenings are conducted, including tests for infections, HIV, and STDs.

"VIP Connections ensures that all necessary precautions are taken to minimise risks and protect its clients," she said.

Kemunto said that the group has in recent years diversified its clientele, catering for a broader range of individuals in terms of age and background.

"The majority of members seeking connections fall within the age range of 24 to 35, while the group reports having up to 35 active connections each month. My agency encourages its members to be independent. We would rather go months without a client, but when we get one, two, or more, they pay well," Kemunto said.

She added that they prioritise their financial independence and view its services as a means for them to generate income.

"The members have different streams of income. They are people who are not struggling and are running their successful businesses, which are stable," she said.

She said that VIP Connections operates within a set of rules and regulations that require clients (men and ladies) to provide full confirmation of their intentions, make the agreed-upon down payment, and undergo necessary medical checks.

"These guidelines are strictly followed to ensure a safe and efficient process for all participants," she said.
