Mbunge wa Malindi Aisha Jumwa amepata afueni baada ya Mahakama Kuu ya Mombasa kutupilia mbali kesi iliyowasilishwa ya kuitaka kumzuia kugombea Ugavana wa Kilifi, Agosti 9.Jaji Stephen Githinji ametupilia mbali kesi hiyo akisema kwamba mahakama yake haina mamlaka ya kuishughulikia.Juma amesema walalamishi kwanza walipaswa kuwasilisha malalamishi yao kwa Kamati ya Tume ya Uchaguzi IEBC ya kusuluhisha mizozo kabla kuelekea mahakamani.Wapiga kura kadhaa katika Kaunti ya Kilifi wakiwamo Daniel Chengo, Rajab Menza na Karl katingu walikuwa wamewasilisha maombi matatu tofauti mbele ya mahakama hiyo kupinga uteuzi na kuchapishwa kwa jina la Jumwa katika gazeti rasmi la serikali kuwa mgombea wa UDA katika kinyang’anyiro cha Ugavana wa Kilifi.Kulingana nao Jumwa hakuafiki vigezo vinavyohitajika vya kuwania wadhifa huo kwani hana cheti cha degree kutoka kwa tasisi ya elimu inayotambulika humu nchini.Walalamishi hao pia waliegemeza kesi yao kutokana na ripoti ya tathmini ya dhamana iliyowasilishwa mahakamani tarehe 22 mwezi wa Oktoba mwaka 2020 ambayo walidai ilithibitisha kwamba Jumwa hajawahi kutunukiwa shahada.Kupitia wakili wao Derick Odhiambo pia walidai kwamba Jumwa hakuwasilisha stakabadhi halili za masomo alipofika mbele ye IEBC kuidhinishwa.Katika kesi hiyo washtakiwa wengine walikuwa IEBC, Tume ya Elimu ya Chuo Kikuu CUE, Tume ya Maadili na Kukabili Ufisadi EACC na Chuo Kikuu cha Kimataifa cha Uongozi International Leadership University.Jumwa atamenyana na Gideon Mung’aro wa ODM, George Kithi wa PAA, Dzombo Mbaru wa Chama cha Safina na wagombea wengine wawili wa binafsi Michael Tinga na Francisco Esposito anayetambuliwa kwa jina maafuru Kasoso wa Baya.
