President-elect Donald Trump is set to be sworn in as the 47th president of the United States on Monday, January 20, alongside Vice President-elect JD Vance.

Saturday, January 18
A reception and fireworks display will take place at Trump National Golf Club in Virginia. The venue will also host a Cabinet reception and the Vice President’s dinner.
Sunday, January 19
A wreath-laying ceremony is planned at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery. This will be followed by a candlelight dinner at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
January 20- Inauguration day schedule
The day begins with a service at St. John’s Church, followed by tea at the White House.
Musical performances and opening remarks will start at 9:30 a.m. EST (2:30pm GMT) on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol.
