John Avire produced a man of the match performance, scoring an opener as Harambee Stars beat their hosts Brave Warriors of Namibia 2-1 in Tuesday's 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifier at Orlando Stadium, in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The victory saw Kenya go joint-top in Group J with Cameroon on four points after the Indomitable Lions were frustrated to a barren draw by the Warriors of Zimbabwe in Kampala, Uganda.
