Blackstreet, the iconic R&B group, is set to electrify Nairobi on December 15th at the Nairobi Polo Club for the Nairobi Groove Theory event themed as 'a picnic event for the Grown and Sexy.'

Hailing from the United States, Blackstreet emerged in the early 90s, quickly captivating audiences with their smooth vocals and innovative blend of R&B and hip-hop.

Led by the visionary producer Teddy Riley, the group's debut album in 1994 showcased their talent and set the stage for what would become a legendary career.

However, it was their 1996 album "Another Level" that propelled them to international stardom. The album's lead single, "No Diggity," featuring Dr. Dre and Queen Pen, became a global sensation, topping charts worldwide and earning them a Grammy Award. The song's infectious beat, smooth vocals, and clever lyrics solidified Blackstreet's place in music history.

Over the years, Blackstreet has continued to release hit songs and collaborate with renowned artists. Their discography boasts numerous chart-topping singles and critically acclaimed albums, leaving an enduring impact on the R&B genre.

Now, Nairobi is ready to experience the magic of Blackstreet live. The Nairobi Groove Theory event promises to be a night of nostalgia, excitement, and pure musical bliss.

As the group takes the stage at the Nairobi Polo Club, fans can expect to hear their timeless hits, including "No Diggity," "Don't Leave Me," and "Before I Let You Go."
