Quincy Jones, the famous music producer and composer, has died at the age of 91.

His publicist, Arnold Robinson, confirmed that Jones passed away on Sunday at his home in Los Angeles, surrounded by his family.

In a statement, his family said, "Tonight, with full but broken hearts, we must share the news of our father and brother Quincy Jones's passing. And although this is an incredible loss for our family, we celebrate the great life that he lived and know there will never be another like him."

Quincy Jones worked with many iconic artists. He is best known for producing Michael Jackson's historic album, Thriller.

He also collaborated with Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, and many others.

Throughout his career, Jones composed music for over 50 films and TV shows. Some of his notable works include Heat of the Night and The Color Purple.

He was behind the all-star recording of the charity song We Are The World in 1985.

Additionally, he composed the soundtrack for the 1969 film The Italian Job, starring Michael Caine.

Jones’s career spanned more than 75 years. He received 28 Grammy Awards out of 80 nominations.

Time magazine named him one of the most influential jazz musicians of the 20th century.
