Where and what did you study for university education?

I studied Communication and Multimedia Journalism at Riara University.

What was your favourite/worst unit while on campus?

(Laughs) I really enjoyed online journalism unit because I am a social media person and work there.

Who were your best/worst lectures?

My Best was Dr. Joy Mueni, Marion Amukuzi and Mr. Steve Korir and Miss Elizabeth Amollo, I really liked all my lecturers though!

How was campus life generally?

My life in Campus was generally great!! From the students and the lecturers to the staff, everyone was lovely. I really enjoyed the personal attention lecturers paid to students as we were quite few in number per class.

How did you make money while on campus?

I have been working for the longest time as a model and commercial model and that is how I was making money during my time in university.

How was dating on campus?

(Laughs)…. I had a boyfriend prior to joining University (who I’m still dating) so I actually have not experienced “on campus dating” because despite him having gone to a different university, he was long done with his studies.

What do you think of campus relationships?

I thinks it is completely beautiful! I love it when I see cute couples in Uni, it’s so adorable. It is even more beautiful when people start dating at university level and end up getting married and starting families.

Where did you hang out on weekends?

Unfortunately, I’m mostly at work on the weekends. When I am not at work I’m hanging out in my bed... (Laughs)… Oh! And one place you will never miss me at is at a concert. So whenever an artist is performing, count me present twice.

What did you do with your free time?

Create content, hang out with friends, and catch up on a lot of editing, catching up on sleep and attending concerts.

Classmates you will never forget?

This is such a long list... are you available till tomorrow? 1. Zena 2. Stephanie 3. Florence 4. Comfort 5. Lynn 6. Njoki 7. Hanan I could go on and on.

Advice to young and upcoming who would like to join both runway and commercial modelling?

The time to start is now! Put all your fears aside and just try. You will get very many nos along the way but you will also get a tonne of yeses, Believe in yourself, shoot that shot and remember not even the sky is the limit.

How did you manage to deliver for brands as well as study and graduate with good grades?

I actually graduated top of my class, it is important to put that out there. And as I continue with my studies I pray that I will be able to have grades just as high as I did. It is extremely difficult to balance both but when you are driven, anything is possible. I am  glad all my classes were usually half day so I could work on content in the evening or on weekends and during exams, I would properly trans night. Ask about me!
