Entrepreneur Esther Akoth better known as Akothee, this week highlighted her success journey, documenting how she rose from a dissolved marriage to building an empire.
She urged her followers not to give up, saying she lived in DSQ in 2007 but seven years later she had built her dream home.
Akothee said her breakthrough moment came in 2009, and she has never looked back, working tirelessly to build her brand.
She gave a chronological account of her milestones as she marvelled at the strides she had made over the years.
“Whenever you feel like giving up..Look at the transformation. My rented DSQ back in 2007 after my marriage was dissolved unannounced in 2006. Picked a hustle thank God I didn't die nor kill anyone on the way. Got my breakthrough in 2009 and built my businesses between 2009 and 2013.
"Built my retirement home in 2014. Built my brand in 2015. Graduated in 2023...Akothee academy 2023...Became the Uganda Tourism Brand Ambassador 2024
"Halooo now sitting down and looking at my achievements...Madamboss is my name," she wrote.
Earlier this month, Akothee said she is fully focused on completing her Master’s degree and has halted all music projects.
The outspoken influencer said she does not intend to release any new music for the next two years as she pursues personal growth.
“Someone asked why I haven’t changed my profile picture since my last graduation. My dear, I have a goal, and that goal is to complete my master’s and my CHRP certification.
“This is my target for the next two years, and it's the project I’m currently focused on. I don't have new music or any other projects at the moment to entertain you, I am working on my personal growth, and I’ll change my profile picture when I achieve a new title,” she wrote.
