Diamond Platnumz’s former videographer Lukamba this week shed light on some of the happenings during their visit to P Diddy’s house.
While speaking to Bongo Five, Lukamba said they were served expensive drinks during their visit, which he believes were meant to intoxicate them.
He added that they found Diddy being massaged and they had to wait for him to finish the session before they could meet him.
Producer Swizz Beatz then introduced Diamond to Diddy and the American music mogul was impressed by his work.
According to Lukamba, they were given a tour of his LA home before he (Diddy) asked them to join him upstairs for a movie.
“I think Diddy got angry when we declined his invitation…he didn’t want to see us off. We had gone to talk about our album not to watch a movie,” said Lukamba.
A similar account was shared by Diamond’s manager Babu Tale in a separate interview where he claimed Swizz Beatz prevented them from entering Diddy’s room.
He, however, said, in hindsight, he now believes Swizz Beatz was protecting them.
“Diddy went upstairs to watch a movie and later sent two of his employees to escort us for a meal. Later Diddy asked us to join him in his room but Swizz was visibly upset and we thought he did not want us to hang out with Diddy,” said Tale.
Diamond’s visit to Diddy’s house
An old video of Diamond discussing his experience at a party hosted by American rapper and producer Sean "Diddy" Combs recently resurfaced, sparking interest due to Diddy’s recent legal issues.
In the video, originally posted in April 2024, Diamond shares how he attended a private party at Diddy’s house, but reveals that some of the activities were not suitable for sharing publicly.
“I went to Diddy’s, I think a day before America’s Independence Day. We were there, and did a lot of things, but some of what happened can’t be posted because the future is still ahead,” Diamond said in Swahili.
He explained that the event involved various people and experiences that remained private.
Diamond added that he met Diddy after winning a BET award, although Diddy had already followed him on social media before they connected in person.
