Gospel artist Ben Cyco and his wife Wanjiru Njiru have welcomed their first child.
The couple shared their joyous news on Instagram, with Ben posting photos of himself holding the newborn in the hospital.
He expressed his gratitude, writing, “I really have no words to express my gratitude. All I can say is may the God who answered my prayers answer you as well in whatever you are trusting him for.”
Wanjiru also shared her excitement, captioning her photos with, “Life has changed forever! So blessed.”
The couple has received numerous congratulatory messages from friends and fans, celebrating their new journey as parents.

Earlier this year, in January, Ben and Wanjiru shared the heartbreaking news of losing their unborn baby.
In a YouTube video, the couple revealed that the loss occurred in October 2023 but chose to keep the details private at the time.

In the emotional video, Ben Cyco reflected on the difficult experience and the impact it had on their marriage.
“We got a baby and we were so excited about it, but after 2 months, we lost the baby. That was a huge dent in our marriage, but God’s grace is sufficient… but that has been a tough season,” Ben said.
He continued, “That happened like two months ago… we tried, but I guess it just did not turn out the way we wanted it to be, and we lost the baby at 8 weeks.”
Wanjiru, visibly emotional, acknowledged the strength and support they found in each other during this challenging time.
She expressed her gratitude for Ben’s unwavering love, saying, “You have also shocked me; I knew you loved me, but this passing season I have seen like you love me.”

Despite the loss, the couple remained hopeful and trusted in God’s timing.
Ben Cyco affirmed their belief that they will be blessed with a child in the future, saying, “God restores, and in the right time, we’re gonna have a little Joyrider.”
Ben also thanked their family and friends for their incredible support during this tough season, adding, “So pray for us, guys, we need that grace, but God has been faithful.”
