Excess fat concentration around the belly has been revealed by scientists in the past to increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases and Type-2 diabetes. Now, aJohn Hopkins University study has found that kidney disease could also be another possible outcome of having excessive fat around the abdomen region.
The researchers found that reducing belly fat along with the consumption of phosphorous-laden foods results to lower concentrations of albumin protein in urine which in turn represses the development of kidney disease.
