First clean energy ship docks at Mombasa port

A ship sailing on clean energy has docked at the new Kipevu Oil Terminal (KOT) II to discharge 121 million litres of petroleum products, Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) said.

It is the first such vessel to call at the port of Mombasa. The MV Proteus Harvonne, a Singaporean flagged vessel discharged premium motor spirits mixture of petrol, diesel and kerosene on separate holds.
