President William Ruto has made several appointments across State corporations and agencies, naming new leaders to key positions.
In a gazette notice dated October 4, Ruto appointed a seven-member panel to oversee the recruitment of the Vice-chairperson and members of the Public Service Commission.
The panel includes Arthur Osiya, Oscar Eredi, Nura Mohammed, Grace Kamau, Ruth Wambeti, Elizabeth Chesang, and Nancy Butama.
Additionally, the Head of State appointed Victor Kioko Munyaka as the chairperson of the Kenya Animal Genetic Resource Centre, with a term of three years.
James Ndungu Mureu will serve as the chairperson of the Micro and Small Enterprise Authority, also for three years.
Donald Murgor will chair the Water Resources Authority, while Silas Otieno will chair the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication, each for a three-year term.

Joseph Kipchumba Lagat has been appointed as the chairperson of the National Mining Corporation.
In a separate gazette notice dated October 3, President Ruto appointed Bishop Joseph Kagunda as the chairperson of the Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya.
All new appointees are to assume their roles starting October 4.
